I have over 17 years’ experience of motivating people toward positive change. I have worked with a wide range of issues over my counselling career including, dependence, low confidence and self-esteem, negative body image, eating disorders, family and relationship problems, relationship breakdown, domestic abuse, abuse survival, bereavement, depression, anxiety, stress management and life-stage/lifestyle changes. I believe every client and client issue is unique and each individual client deserves a bespoke service. I use a trans theoretical/integrative approach incorporating humanistic, psychodynamic and CBT styles of counselling. I hold a level five qualification in counselling and am also qualified to supervise the practice of other counsellors. I follow the ethical principles of the BACP.
I am a trained `Health Walk` Leader.
Walking in a natural environment is my personal `go to` activity for dealing with the stresses of life.
